Why would the SEC change to whatever the NCAA rules on this? Remember Valentine was OK'd by the NCAA and the SEC didn't OK him.

Ask yourself the reverse, why would the SEC keep a sanction imposed if the NCAA committee, which made the rule, finds no wrong doing. That would then open up an appeal process for the SEC sanction given by the SEC in which at that point the NCAA would get involved again
