We stayed near Sugar so we didn't make it to Blowing Rock except on the drive home. We'll definitely take a day to go there next year though.

There's a new brew house at the entrance to sugar called High Country something house. It's on Facebook. The owner was super cool. She only has local draft beer. Stop in the next time you are there.
