I wouldn't technically consider Baton Rouge to be a college town, but its a little different when the state capital is in the city as well.

Even though Austin, TX is a fantastic college atmosphere, IDK if I would technically consider it a college town just based on everything else that goes on there. I think of the music scene before I think of UTx.

When I think of Athens, on the other hand, I think of UGA. Gainesville, UF. KnoxVegas, UT. You get it (hopefully).
