So you're telling me that in Houston the University of Houston is more popular than Texas A&M or UT? What about in Tampa. Is the University of South Florida more popular over UF or FSU? Or even University of Detroit over Michigan or Michigan State. Is the College of Charleston more popular than Clemson in the city of Charleston?

those colleges are not one of two flagship universiites in their state. GTech is, and obivusly has better athletics programs. You aren't comparing apples to apples.
