and that is without Mizzou moving up (or anyone moving down) and not counting the SEC tourney.

Last season we ended up 17-17 vs top 50 RPI clubs so 34 games. A couple are post-season but I think we'll end up with 30ish games vs top 50 this year.

Purely off SOS, everyone in the SEC's RPI is going up. I'll be a little surprised if we don't end up with around 10 SEC teams in the top 50. As a case in point, our RPI was 78 after the 4th SEC series last year. We went 9-9 in league play after that and finished with an RPI of 34 (before the SECT). One note is we did sweep our midweeks, including @Rice, from that point.

The best SEC record for over 50 RPIs was 12-18 UT and they were 53. So Mizzou is an incredibly safe bet to finish in the top 50 imo

* Actually looking at it they finished the regular season at 44 and were one and done in Hoover to push them to 51. Their 53 is after all other teams played post-season.

just an fyi, tonight's game is going to start late due to rain. Don't believe we have a projected first pitch time just yet

Wonder if we'll get Bama/LSU on SECN for a bit since it is also scheduled to start at 6. Would be pretty funny to watch the one camera angle on tv as opposed to just streaming
