I'll say this: if you meant no offense then it's a lot more OK with me although even explained I don't see the amusement (just the way I see rape cases).

I just don't see any of this as a time to take potshots or joke so you invoked my ire. There's a strong possibility a girl's life was ruined for as long she lives - trauma heals but it doesn't go away. And in the event she's wrong about it all, these guys' (hardly old enough to be called men) lives are ruined permanently. The damage is done to one or more lives no matter who is telling the truth.

And no matter how the court case resolves that trauma won't go away even for the victim (she wouldn't go through testimony, imo if she didn't truly believe that a rape occurred. THAT is a humungous step and belief can be as powerful as the truth when it comes to trauma).

Again if you're being forthright then that's ok not funny, imo, but ok. I've known more one victim that I truly believe not to be as serious as a heart attack on the issue.

Here's to hoping justice is served regardless of outcome.
