DT Taron Vincent
Baltimore (Md.) Gilman School

Scouting Report: Vincent's combination of size, quickness and strength make him a potentially dominant force in the middle of the defense. He uses leverage to his advantage and he has so much power in his lower body that offensive linemen can't help but get pushed backwards. As Vincent progresses he will have more effective hand techniques and be a little more in control.

Offers and Interest: There are two major connections that Vincent has to big-time college football programs. His father, Troy Vincent, was a star at Wisconsin and his brother, Troy Vincent Jr., currently plays for N.C. State. Outside of those connections, Vincent is set up well to be one of the most highly sought after defensive linemen in the 2018 class. Schools such as Alabama, Michigan, Ohio State, UCLA and many others have told Vincent he has a spot on their teams.

National Recruiting Director Mike Farrell's take: This is the big man in the family. His dad and brother both went on to college as defensive backs and Taron is already the size of a college defensive tackle as just a rising sophomore. He shows good balance for a young player, he plays with solid leverage and he is ahead of the curve when it comes to strength and size. Oh, and he's yet another son of a former big-time college player to dot this list.

The Class of 2018 is fricking loaded with legacy prospects.
