I don't know how to react to good news anymore.

I will anyway.

Jonah Williams, a 2016 four-star offensive tackle from Folsom, Calif. (Folsom), has committed to Alabama per his Twitter account.

Last Monday, Williams unofficially visited the Capstone for the day, as he rounded out his spring break tour of the southeast. He chose Alabama over a number of schools including Auburn, Georgia, and Texas A&M.

Williams, who was recruited by Tosh Lupoi and Mario Cristobal, becomes the Tide's fifth commitment in the 2016 class. His commitment bumped Alabama six spots in the class rankings to No. 18 nationally.

The following is 247Sports Director of Recruiting Steve Wiltfong's analysis of Williams:

"Size, toughness, athleticism, Jonah Williams has everything a college program covets in an offensive line prospect.

Coming out of high school, Williams is very comfortable in pass pro, has the feet and quickness to quickly get into his set and create space between him and the defensive lineman which allows him to then dominate those edge rushers.

Williams quickly gets to the second level and he’s a finisher when he arrives at the linebacker. When run blocking, the film shows passion, and it also shows defenders being drove downfield.

Williams also plays guard on tape and certainly could factor there on the college level as well."

Williams, a 6-foot-5, 272-pound prospect, is rated the No. 9 offensive tackle and the No. 74 overall player in the country per the 247Sports Composite rankings.
