Does this recruiting season feel like 2010 to anybody else besides me? lol. (I know 2010 wasn't "bad" but it was a tiny step below 08, 09, 11, 12, 13, 14, & 15, I don't think anyone can deny that). It seems like only a few players at the top (5 Stars) are considering us. In 2013 we had 6 5-Stars, in 2014 we had 7 5-Stars, and in 2015 we had 6 5-Stars. I just don't see us matching that this season. We only have 4 commits right now, and the 2 best ones are wavering for sure. Someone say something here to make me feel better, tell me something I don't know, list some 4-5 stars that I don't know are high on us. HELP lol and Roll Tide

Hulk, you couldn't be any further from the truth. We are being more selective for the first time this year. The past couple years, the staff was frustrated that we had very good to elite guys that we couldn't take at the end due to numbers. We'd taken a few guys that the staff didn't think as highly of. They didn't want that to happen this year. We're probably in on just about every 5* in the country. Probably more than even the last few years. We will have a massive haul.

I'm not sure why any of us would ever be worried 10 and a half months before signing day. It's March for God's sake.

You are correct in saying that we landed 6 composite 5 stars in the class of 2015.

None of the 6 were committed last March:

This is how things looked in March of 2014 for our class of 2015 composite 5 stars:

Calvin Ridley - Miami lean
Minkah Fitzpatrick - UA/tOSU/USCe battle

When you look at our target list and don't think we have a great chance at many of the top prospects, remember that none of our 2015 5 stars were committed in March.
