Genghis Khan is one of the major contributing reasons for the state of the middle east today. The libraries in Baghdad were said to be the pinnacle of scientific and historical learning at that time, and he destroyed it all, killed all their leaders, and sent them to the stone age.
Genghis Khan F'ed it all up, so I wouldn't exactly look fondly back on his memory.
