If he'd been at Alabama with the bias that supports the program he wouldn't have been on the outside looking in at National titles.

There's definitely something to that, which is why it bugs me when UA fans speak in absolutes of NC when so much subjectivity existed in deciding them. They were most definitely the beneficiary of biased pollsters more than once.
