I think Bobo got into a scheme that he was reluctant to switch out of. In fact, almost every poor offensive game during his years was a result of him not deviating from the pre game plan. He was he'll bent against GT to run from the shotgun with our RB offset left or right. We had decent success with it the first half and the two lack of scores was on Michel and Chubb. But, GT obviously changed some things up at half yet we continued to try and run that inside counter again and again. They bottled that up much better in the 2nd half. I was begging him to get under center and in the I formation. I felt like we could have got the edge consistently with Rome or Blaz dropped back off the LOS in a slot and using them to crash down inside. Fullback leading out the Toss to Chubb. Or even keeping the TE on the LOS and letting him inside release to the play side ILB with the a man (Blaz or Rome?) coming in motion from the backside and leading on the OLB or DE.(whoever crossed his path first). FB leads on the guy who the motion man doesn't engage. Two DTs in the interior line. There are so many variations of this scheme out of multiple formations to achieve the same effect. Bobo was just locked into his gameplan and did not deviate. Still almost won and actually should have.
