Bert has a make or break year, next year. He will have to beat AU,UA or A&M and finish in the top 3 in the West, to keep the heat off. The two shutout wins against teams reeling, helped him this year. But looking back, those were not as impressive as some want to make out.

pitiful. When was the last time Auburn shutout any SEC teams while Gus was on staff?

You may be right, but I disagree, I think he turned the corner and will be a force to be reckoned with.

Shutting out two SEC West opponents in back-to-back weeks is very impressive.....
