Until such a day when cops are truly without bad intentions or errors, you'd do well to adopt the "frick the police" mentality and treat them all as if they will abuse, arrest and kill you for no good god-damned reason.
I think one can and should be aware of their rights and seek legal recourse when those rights are violated. Beyond that, what are you suggesting?

Cops are not on your side. Remember that.
I know they don't have a legal responsibility to protect citizens. And if your self defense plan involves cops, it's probably not going to be the best one (especially due to the time factor, etc).

And I maintain that I have zero sympathy for any cop killed while participating in revenue collection.
And that's the part I think is just trashy. They're still a person. How do you go about deciding who you feel sorry for if they're murdered?

I mean yea, if a cop is violating someone and attempting to use lethal force unnecessarily and that person defends themself, that's one thing. But to just make that blanket statement is shitty. I assume you're coming from the perspective that the state/govt doesn't have the right to your property and therefore you're being violated by them trying to take it?

Agree.

Exactly what I said. Do not cooperate. Retain your rights and consent to nothing. Treat every cop as if he will ruin your day just because he can.

I feel sorry for people who do not initiate aggression against other people, either for some utilitarian personal or societal gain.. (Aggression is defined as an unsolicited action against someone who has failed to violate the rights of any party.)

If you are murdered standing in your yard, watering your lawn, I can feel sorry for you.

If you are shot and killed trying to take money from someone that you have not earned, feed the grass. I care not.

I assume you dabble in socialism?
