Damn, that video is tough to watch. I was seven at the time and still remember it happening like yesterday, that affected the entire Laurens County community. This case was one of the occasions in which deadly force was actually justified, sadly Dep. Dinkheller waited to act until it was too late.

There's a middle ground to be found between blindly bashing the police and blindly support their actions. I look at that the same way I look at people who blindly support/oppose a politician based on what party they belong to.

I loathe politicians more so than cops. The cops are the enforcement wing of an overreaching government, which is why I actively encourage all cops that I know personally to speak out against such legislation that allows/requires "quality of life" and "revenue generation" police work, AND to act accordingly.

THIS can be the only middle ground. THIS will end the VAST majority of violent confrontations between Joe/Sue Citizen and The Heroes That Protect Us.

Do this, and I will have hope for the future world in which my daughter will live.
