re: Does anyone else hate the targeting penalty?

It's stupid bc refs can't call it consistently. A guy getting hit hard in the chest could be targeting just because it looked vicious. "Targeting" should not even exist. We were perfectly fine having penalties for a)leading with the crown of the helmet and b)hitting a player in the head. Those both make sense and are clearly definable. "Targeting" seems like it's just whatever refs feel like calling.


When we're playing a game where this:


leads to a 15 yard penalty and a player ejection, something is wrong.
