re: Bama fans, how was Nuss as a recruiter?

Kiffin's visit in December of last year wasn't a talent evaluation. It was a job interview. Obviously that's common knowledge now. A few days after last years SEC Championship game I was told by someone who has good connections to UA that Nuss was encouraged to seek employment elsewhere and that Lane Kiffin would be hired as OC. A few weeks later Kiffin is hired. Rumor was Nuss and Saban never saw eye to eye and it's pretty well documented how complimentary Saban always has been of Kiffin as a play caller. To fire the man that called the offense that set school records does raise questions but it has worked out so far for Alabama. I think Florida fans will have the same frustrations Alabama fans had with is play calls.
