I don't think it all boils down to luck though. It might have some luck here and there involved in it but maybe the bama kids are getting better advice. The bama kids know that right now winning a national title is a realistic possibility every single year.That has something to do with why they could be returning and why they have a top recruiting class every year.

There are some key differences in the programs right now. The bama staff does a great job of maxing out their talent. They have shown the ability to evolve on offense to fit the players they have. They also for the most part have continuity between the type of players they are recruiting and the coaches specialties. Simms is really the outlier for them and yet they made it work.

We have the money to spend and we outspend them staff wise. We have great recruiters in Henry and Wilson, I feel like we need more. Also for as much shite as i give Les the man does a good job closing in living rooms. He lets some slip but shite happens. I feel like we have some dead weight on our staff and bama doesn't really have any dead weight on their staff.

As a program we need to reevaluate some things. We are close to being what bama is but have had some bad luck and maybe a tad bit of a country club feel around our program.
