I'm defending him. Let the staff gather all the facts before some spur of the moment decision is made. Freeze giving him a scholarship while knowing Kellys' reputation and previous incidents just goes to show what little confidence he has in Kincaide and Buchanon. I have a strong feeling that he'll get another chance

his past history is a pretty big reason to just break ties now. He's had multiple chances to get his act together. Regardless of whether he actually threatened to shoot up the bar, he definitely was involved in an altercation with bouncers where he could have avoided the situation entirely. For instance, Ryan Perrilloux was only cited one time for anything illegal (using a fake ID at a casino), but you can only give kids so many chances. Kelly has shown over the course of the past few years that he is extremely immature and not interested in making intelligent decisions. Honestly, given his track record at Clemson, he's lucky Ole Miss gave him the chance they did. Clearly, Kelly's time in Juco wasn't the wake-up call he needed. He seems like a very spoiled, entitled punk, and if I was an Ole Miss fan I wouldn't want to have that cancer on my football team. Just my two cents.

frick it. Let him play.

LSU minimized, rationalized, and justified signing a kid who was at one time charged with, and admitting to having sex with a 14 year old child while he was 18, and then a year and a half latter he sucker punched some drunk from behind, and lied to the cops about it when he was recorded doing it.

This is minor compared to that kind of deviant and criminal behavior.

Take a team vote, suspend him for a game and move on.
