Way to cherry pick a Cherokee that someone spent 10k making it an off road vehicle
IT'S A CHICK CAR and his wife will love it. It's a fuel efficient go get the groceries and pick up the kids under 28k FULLY LOADED, housewife or girl out if college first car. Doesn't yours belong to your wife? Men buy the Grand Cherokee SRT8

I believe you're talking about the cherokee and not the grand cherokee. And I would agree that the new Cherokee is a disgrace and a total chick car.
However, I agree with rebelgator the grand cherokee is a fantastic car, and certainly not cheap. And the grand Cherokee competes with the likes of 4Runner, explorer etc.
Now, I would vote for the Subaru Outback. A friend of mine has one and I absolutely love its utility. Just get the larger engine. I ride a triumph t100 in the city, and an audi all road for trips. Wouldn't recommend either.
