He doesn't think it's a big deal, and coaches didn't either. Doubt our medical staff would let him play if they thought it was an issue

lol fair point.

If it were me, I would be concerned if I were randomly blacking out for a few seconds.

And good luck getting a driver's license if you have a condition that causes you to black out randomly for a few seconds at a time.

But no big deal, amirite? lol

Hard to say if its an issue or not with what little we know. It could run in his family or be some unrelated medical problem. For example, my granny used to have 'spells' like this - no physical reason why; they just happened from time to time.

I know everyone fears the worst with concussion awareness but these symptoms don't sound concussion related. Regardless of what it is I hope they figure it our and that it's treatable. While I would hate to lost Cam if it is the result of an old concussion (it doesn't fit with the symptoms of 'fresh ones' then he doesn't need to play around with it).

A symptom like this could truly be anything though. Hopefully. his doctors know what it is and are giving him good advice. Scary stuff no matter what.
