again, you're far too wrapped up in semantics. The Hesiman trophy is an MVP award. The MVP, in other sports leagues, is not awarded to the most valuable player on his team. It is awarded to the player who puts up the best stats across said league. The Heisman trophy is no different. I really have no idea what you're even trying to argue. Stop getting caught up into the root meaning of what the MVP is "supposed"to mean or what the Hesiman voters are "supposed" to vote on. They all vote for the player with the best stats in any league around the world.

It is not an MVP award. It is the most outstanding player award. In practice, this has become the best QB on the best team, unless a RB does something compelling.
