We need to stop letting juniors walk on senior day

Pretty sure it originated with Kenny Miles, but he was at least graduated when he walked iirc and he didn't even end up leaving the team which should have stopped the tradition then.
Letting every junior that thinks they're gonna leave early for the draft do this is ridiculous. Senior day is called senior day for a reason and is a reward for the players that are able to stick with the team for 4 or 5 years. It cheapens the day when guys like Mike Davis or Shaq Roland could decide to go out there.

I agree. But it really changed under Dirty Dave Roberts ... wait, it was Spurrier I guess, when Jonathan Joseph walked.
Still, I wanna say some did it under Holtz because I remember at Skip's birthday party around spring practice time, talking about someone walking early and another was going to do it the coming fall and Skip and Todd laughed about it and said everyone was doing it.
When Miles walked he said he was transferring then Spurrier talked him into staying. Then Miles stepped on his pecker.
