TBH, I think they realize things have changed. They knew before we were rising the CBJ and now with Dobbs they're recognizing that change is coming far more quickly than expected.

Prior to this and throughout the off-season, posters were full of praise for Jones. Hell, I remember lots of posters saying they like him. Early on this season they complimented our defense and again saying we were on the rise but also saying they didn't expect it for a few more years. Now though, we've found an offense, a QB who is really turning heads given his performance against Bama and SC, are looking at another stellar recruiting class, are finally seeing our young talent shine on the field, are returning TONS of talent and could very possibly wind up 8-5. And remember for all the praise they were giving Jones for putting us on the right track, most predicted 5-7 or worse. The fact that it looks like the future has come faster than anyone expected is having an impact.

Just look at the poster who was bitching about Jones, saying he didn't trust him, and generally dissing him. That is a completely different attitude than I've seen before. They know and they don't like what's happening - it threatens their status and recruiting far more than the notion that "you're almost there but still have about 2 years before you get there."

Also, don't underestimate the dumb and/or paranoid factor. I posted about Jimmy's tweet yesterday because I thought tRant would have fun with speculating about what the hell Hyam's could possibly be on about. Instead, they thought I was trolling and well you saw how it went.

Now that tRant is on edge and reading comprehension appears to be at an all time low, I think I'll skip making that mistake again unless something comes along that even tRant can't frick up.
