Last I checked our fight song has nothing to do with an opponent.

What's even funnier is Bama fans can't even sing their fight song. Probably for good reason. Most don't even know the words to it and it's embarrassing. They're still Georgia's and Georgia Tech's little brother. They knew better than sing about Auburn because at the time Auburn owned them.

"Let the Sewanee Tiger scratch; Let the Yellow Jacket sting;
Let the Georgia Bulldog bite; Alabama still is right;
And whether win or lose we smile, for that's Bama's fighting style..."

Yes, get your arse beat and smile about it. You bend over to and take it in the rear and smile too?

If that doesn't inspire fear in opponents. Just so manly man man of them. They later changed that but still sing about Georgia and Tech.

vs.

War Eagle, fly down the field,
Ever to conquer, never to yield.
War Eagle, fearless and true.
Fight on you orange and blue.
Go! Go! Go!
On to vict'ry, strike up the band.
Give 'em hell, give 'em hell,
Stand up and yell, hey!
War Eagle, win for Auburn,
Power of Dixieland!

We DO NOT sing about other teams at Auburn. We are not defined by other teams.

We are not called the Auburn Tigers because of ANYTHING having to do with Alabama. HOWEVER, little brother, you're named the Crimson Tide because of Auburn. You tied us in 1907 after we had been tanning your backsides and you were so thrilled about just tying us that you were called the Crimson Tide for the first time. It's ok, little brother. The truth hurts.
