All that matters is it was not a horsecollar by rule. I have seen plenty of players get pulled down from behind and not get injured. Pretty soon the game will have to become flag football because defensive players will have no way of tackling. It was an unfortunate injury, but you just have to accept football is a rough game and injuries are part of the game. You are never going to eliminate all injuries from football unless you do go to flag football

Hold on there partner. I have never claimed it should have been a penalty of that injures in football are avoidable. Simply stating that the way he was tackled produced the same effect as if he had been the victim of a illegal horsecollar. I don't care if they change the rules. Not enough people get hurt like that anyway.
