In a Silverado now. They tried telling me they didn't have anything left. All is well.

My god those bars look awesome.

Eta: my trip damn better be successful well before I make it to Branson.

That's Top of the Rock, just a little slice of Big Cedar Lodge. Owned by Johnny Morris, the $4.5 billion dollar owner of Bass Pro.

It's no more than 10 - 15 minutes south of the Hilton on the Promenade.

The Hilton is located on Hwy 65. You take Hwy 65 South to Hwy 86. Make a right (West) on 86 and then IMMMEDIATELY turn right where you see the sign "Top of the Rock".

Park at the Guest Center and take a free shuttle to the Top of the Rock complex. Otherwise you'll pay a $10 valet fee at the door. Will save you money for an extra drink.

I suggest you eat at Arnie's Barn, hit some golf balls on the championship driving range - 50 balls for $15 (image below), and then finish your evening at the Buffalo Bar and Wine Cellar.

Trust me here...I can't stress this enough...there isn't a place in the United States like Top of the Rock. It took Johnny Morris 8 years to build.

You must see it for yourself. Big Cedar is one extra mile beyond Top of the Rock on 86. If you have time, drive to Big Cedar as well and simply view the campus.
