That under no circumstances, do I want Mississippi State or any SEC team other than the Vols winning a national title or even playing in the playoff.

What would please me most is for UT and UGA to win out thus putting UGA in the SEC CG. Then, a 2 loss UGA while going to a decent bowl does not go to the playoffs. By beating whatever 1 loss team or better yet, undefeated, team from the west they keep the whole sec west out of the playoff.
I'd love it for the melt value. It would be epic.

I'm with you. frick SEC pride or whatever they want to call it.
When Jameis threw that game winning TD vs AU last year, you would've thought VOLS had just won the NC judging by my reaction.

My problem last year was that I hate Auburn and FSU. If MSU were to win it I wouldn't be as mad. But frick LSU, AU, OM, and Bama. Oh and frick Florida.

I hate FSU more than Auburn.
I will root against Bama and Florida always, no exceptions. A lot of the other SEC teams just don't bother me too much.

If I HAD to pick one team from the SEC to win it all it would be Miss State.
Otherwise I'm not a dickriding SEC type. I sometimes pull for other SEC teams to win before they play us so that we can crush steal their souls. That was never more fun than in the 90s. I really believe those times are soon to be here again.
