Increased blown calls like this and other blown penalties, particularly pre-snap procedural penalties, are a direct result of the HUNH offense. Officials are running around like chickens with their heads cut off while HS coaches scream at them to hurry up. Hugh Freeze is one of the biggest proponents of the HUNH offense, so I don't feel bad that it ended up biting Ole Miss in the arse.

2.5 seconds = approximately how long it takes to count the number of players on the field and which ones are lined up in the backfield.
Coincidence? I think not.
