Talk to me breh. I want to be wrong on this. It is my understanding that CBS gets the first pick because of their contract with the SEC. Educate a fellow Tigah.

CBS gets one primetime slot per year, on a Saturday that they must specify before the season starts.
They've been picking the LSU/Alabama weekend the last few years, and they did again this year.
So CBS has a 2:30 game and a 7:00 game next week.
LSU/Alabama will be at 7:00.
