I love how one good year by State is somehow equal to the recruiting prowess of Mullen followed by the recruiting ineptness of Malzahn/Saban.
Don't mention the fact that weakness at WR/LB is not the reason that Bama is struggling a little this year. If you would have named a right guard/right tackle/quarterback we whiffed on I'd be more inclined to believe the evaluation misses. As it is, I think our WR and LB situation is more than sufficient for a title run.

Don't mention the fact that Beni is elite -- already basically just as good as McKinney.
My problem here isn't that you passed on these guys -- it's your implication now that they aren't elite or very close to it.
