Well, it depends how we define success, I suppose. First, we need to keep in mind this is the 3rd season TAMU is an SEC team. With only 2 full football seasons under our belt.

So let's see. Some of the challenges in changing leagues is the SEC is a LOS league. We are still working to build depth on the D-line especially. So that takes time. Then we walk in to the SEC West, easily the best division in CF and one that has gone to the national title game the 2 years TAMU was part of the SEC.

In those 2 years, TAMU has I think done better than most predicted in the SEC:
-Heisman winner
-top 5 finish
-ranked virtually the entire time as part of the SEC (until this friggin' week)
-2nd most watched team in CF last year, behind Bama.
-won 2 bowl games

If anyone had written the above in the summer of 2012 they would have been laughed out of tRant.

Do we still have a lot of work to do? Yes. Did we come in and simply get bent over, as most of you predicted? Not even close (though we are doing a good job of that this year).

-won 2 bowl games [This is the only tangible accomplishment.]
