State's secondary is not great regardless of what UAB did to them.

Everyone knows the strength of MSU's D is the front 7. Secondary is average. Luckily for MSU, a good front 7 can mask back 4 deficiencies.

This was evident to anybody who watched the Auburn game. Duke Williams was wide open for a 20 or 30 yard gain on the first deflected pass that turned into an interception for State. You then had the 70 or 80 yard pass to Coates that was called back

Batted balls are easier to intercept.
