Disagree. He is still the best recruiter in the game, and Alabama will likely be the most talented team in the country as long as he is in Tuscaloosa. Sometimes, however, extremely talented teams don't gel, highly recruited prospects don't pan out, or there's simply a lack of leadership on a team. Occasionally, as you've seen this year, less talented teams gel very well, upperclassmen take over teams, and teams that shouldn't be outstanding simply are.
Alabama's team is not as good this year as it has been. But Saban's teams will always have the talent to be championship contenders.

The talent at conference rivals is catching up quickly, and they don't seem to be having the same problems "gelling" that Bama is having. That's a direct indictment of leadership. tDecline is going to hit hard.
