At the end of the day, MSU didn't really pressure Hill in the first half. Once we were down too far and had to throw then the pressure came.
Our receivers were awful and flat dropped 10+ passes. To make things worse, Hill threw slightly behind receivers pretty much the entire game with or without pressure.

Our line did it's job. We had over 500 yards of offense. Without the dropped passes Ags had well over 600 yards of offense. MSU had 1 sack in first half and 1 in Q3. 2 sacks in Q4.

To say Kenny Hill was running for his life is an exaggeration. He was really only consistently pressured once everyone knew he was going to throw on almost every play as the game got away midway through the 3rd Q. At the end of the day, MSU still only sacked him 4 times on 62 attempts. I can live with that all day long if our receivers catch the ball.

MSU is not in the same ballpark as Ole Miss from a defensive standpoint. If Ags drop passes and Hill throws behind receivers, we are in for another bad day.
