I know we've got TA&M ahead, but this def caught my eye as I was reviewing national stats last night.
Pass Defense - Total Yards
121. Mississippi State - 1641
122. Washington StatE
123. Middle Tennessee
124. Massachussets
And to add...
we are performing Top 40 Pass Offense in both yardage and yards per game which is better than I personally thought. Thought Id share.
There are some other interesting stats if you review at your convenience - check out our punting game. Massive averages, near lowest instances of punting.
Gleeson for Heisman, guy is awesome

I can't remember the last championship team that didn't have a great defense.

Most of them have definitely been outstanding but a NC winning team has only scored under 30 points 6 times in 16 years of the BCS.
On the flip side 8 times in the last 16 years the NC winning offense has scored 35 or more.

And on the flipside....8 of the last 16 nc game losers gave up more than 35 points....
