Yea i have no problem with the no call on the fair catch interference
But the explanation on MacKenzie' fair catch was laughable as was the offsetting personal fouls.
Again, I don't think it effected the outcome of the game but I wish the SEC would release a statement explaining how in the hell the refs screwed up a routine spot that badly
I think it was in the first half of the second quarter not sure precisely when but it was in the first half for sure

You never know how bad calls/no calls etc affect a game. One change in an outcome changes every other play in the game. the bad spot, for instance. Would Georgia have gone for it? I think we would have to run the clock down. Would we have made it? Nobody knows, but you would think it would be doubtful. Every single play and outcome affects every other play in the game. However, there is nothing that can be done about it. It's like our game against South Carolina. Gurley had a big TD called back on a bad holding call. SEC office said it wasn't holding, yet we lost the TD.
Stuff like this is maddening and frustrating, but there is nothing that can be done about it.
(That is not saying had the TD stood we would have won the game at SC. As I said, had the play stood it would have changed every other play in the game. There simply is no way of knowing how the game might...or might not have changed.

I might try to find the play and listen for a whistle. I honestly don't know if it was blown or not....and even if I find the play and don't hear the whistle it wouldn't mean that it wasn't blown. Bad sound and all.

I gave it a cursory look and couldn't find it. I just don't have the patience. here is the link to the game if anybody cares to try to find it, though.
