LSU offense looked bad under saban. Les owns 3 of the most prolific offenses in LSU history. and never was as bad as sabans 2002 team offensively. What did saban have in 2002? bad qb play, same as 2004.
Nobody would argue that Saban has made great strides in this department. His philosophy used to be "the offense better not put my defense in a bad spot." Not to mention that Saban was never at LSU to experience the benefits his success had on recruiting.

I was just pointing out it looked bad under saban and fisher too. It's not exclusive to Les Miles. Maybe its just not as easy to win at LSU as some people think and id say that would be evidence in 4 coaches that coached between mac and saban.
Saban had a team littered with talent, LSU had nfl hof players before he got there. Saban was never staying at LSU so i dont think thats the fault of the coach we hired after him. Plus i think he did see the fruits of success, that 2001 class is what got us there in 2003. I just think too much credit is given to him for Les' success. UF is arguably more talented than LSU when Muschamp took over yet he is struggling. With the same logic people use on LSU, then any coach should be winning at UF, yet they struggled under zook and now muschamp.
