I'm going to go ahead and just ignore everything Kenny Hill's done this year, absent USCe. And 1 game can just be a lucky fluke.

That's the thing, Hill lit up a top 20 team. Allen has yet to do anything remotely close to that, not to mention I saw him play last year and it was obviously not impressive. If we force you to start throwing it will be a major victory for us, if he beats us he beats us but I'll take my chances

We are a run first team to set up the play action pass, which, I might add, we've done fairly well the last few games. If we can't back teams off the line of scrimmage with our passing game then we are in a heap of trouble.

The Aggies rely on their passing game and use the run to keep teams honest. Sumlin likes to wear teams out chasing the pass for three quarters and then run the ball at them while they are gassed in the 4th. If Arkansas is effective at controlling the clock, keeping that young defense rested, and moving the ball on offense then Texas A&M could be in trouble.

In other words, its the same game we played this last weekend vs Texas Tech only with better personnel for the Aggies. I think we are a year away from where we need to be, but if the running game works and our play action passing game can keep pace this could be a heck of a game.

Why would he be asked to? Seriously. Ask yourself that question. I'm PRETTY sure you know football well enough to know the results when an offense doesn't require that a QB throw the ball 40+ times per game.

For A&M to win, 9 times out of 10, the QB has to have a good/great game. That's a staple of any Sumlin team.

Arkansas can win without stellar QB play. All he has to do is be a game manager. And he's much more than that, IMO.

Hey guys! Brandon Allen totally sucks. Shane says that he's terrible because he saw him last year and he was terrible. Nevermind the fact that he played hurt from week 3 til the end of the season. Nevermind that our QB situation was so piss-poor that we had no choice but to play him. Nevermind that he practiced ONE frickING TIME PER WEEK. Nevermind that he took injections into his THROWING SHOULDER before each game just so he could play.

But yeah. You saw him play last year and this year is exactly like last year.

If you force us to start throwing, it'll be because you've committed 9 people to the box because we're gashing a hole through your TERRIBLE (I mean TERRIBLE) run defense. I saw them play last year and they were TERRIBLE. And since you have no one that can match up with a TE (since they were TERRIBLE at it last year), I'd look for Henry, Derby, and Sprinkle to have huge games (again in Henry's case).

Fortunately for us, Brandon Allen (for anyone that has actually watched us play this year) is a much, much improved player over last year. His VOLUME numbers aren't great (why would they be - that's not our offense), but his efficiency is GREAT. Stack the box all game. It'll make life that much easier on Brandon Allen...since he sucked last year we'll need all the help we can get.
