Want a little evidence? How about this.

There is a certain senior soccer player who is one of the best on the team. She has played extensive minutes in every game this year.

Yet..the last 2 games she hasn't even gotten 1 minute.

Btw, the game before those 2..she played 72 minutes. Wonder why she was mysteriously excluded from even being included in the box score? Seems like that would coincide exactly with the info I heard..

Ok. Let's hypothetically say it's true. Based on your OP the soccer player served her sentence and if Nick's was missing some practices then his is would likely be over also. So that begs the question of why even bring it up now? The only answer I can think of is to try to rustle jimmies of your fellow Aubies and create drama. If true then simply not cool bro.

Let's recap:

1) Nick Marshall was caught smoking marijuana during a study hall sometime between the morning of Monday September 8th and the afternoon of Thursday September 11th.
2) This incident marked the 10th time in his 14 months on the AU campus in which he was known to be partaking of an illegal drug.
3) His punishment for this transgression was to be barred from practicing with his teammates during the bye week leading up to a Thursday night nationally televised game on the road against a ranked opponent.
4) AU Soccer starting forward Chelsea Gandy-Cromer was with him, and has already served a two-game suspension.
5) An unidentified acquaintance on campus that you apparently trust 100% is aware of the above facts and shared them all with you, including Ms. Gandy-Cromer's involvement.
6) This sensitive information has been kept under wraps by AU HC Gus Malzahn, AU Soccer HC Karen Hoppa, the AU Athletic Dept., and quite possibly the AU Police.
7) Despite the significant negative impact such information could have on Marshall's eligibility, and thus AU's success on the gridiron for the remainder of the 2014 season, you've chosen a public forum frequently visited by rival fans (and quite possibly members of the media) to spread the news.
8) You are really an AU fan and not an alter.

That pretty much sum it up?
