Believe it or not, Rocky Top is kinda catchy. I like it. Yeah I said it. It also helps that I can almost never hear their band play it from where I sit.
One interesting thing about this series is that BOTH bands will play the opposing teams fight song at one point. It's kinda funny if you think about it.

Hating Rocky Top is the right of SEC fans. However outside of football and being a rival fan who doesn't want to hear it every time we score, if you don't like Rocky Top then there's something wrong with you. Boomer sooner, OTOH, is the opposite. If you're not an OU fan who only likes it because it's your school's football chant thingy and instead just like the thing then there's something wrong.

I hate to say it too. But Rocky Top is catchy and it goes well with the mascot. So does USC's fight song. Sounds like something you would hear in ancient war celebration.
