I am neither pro-Sims nor pro-Coker. I am pro-winning.
I have no problem with either QB. The best player should and will play. Right now...that best player (at least in my mind's eye) is obviously Blake Sims. Coker is very raw and very rusty. Sims is polished and confident. That could change as the season progresses. But for right now, at least in my estimation, Sims is the best QB on our roster.
It might not be what most fans wanted or predicted but there it is.

I just don't like all of the discrediting of Coker that is happening with a lot of our fans. He had a completion percentage of 62% today with 0 ints and that was with attempting several long passes. Coker also had to deal with a few longer down and distances from penalties.
I think Bama could win with Sims, but I still have some questions. I don't think UF is going to give him the underneath throws that he has had. Will VH3 play off man against Cooper? Doubt it.
