These comments ... I dunno, I guess this supports what I was told a couple of months ago and shared with y'all about some issues the other players had with him and how the chemistry seemed to be so much better during the off-season without them having to deal with Quarles' ego.

I had heard he was jealous of Clowney big time ... I always thought he should have been thankful for Clowney honestly.

But it's ironic he implies that there were egos at Carolina when everyone has always told me he had the biggest ego that had to be stroked of them all.

It's different. There are no egos here. It's not a place where it is about this person or that person. I feel like it's a place where you are going to get your opportunity to show what you can do, to show what you have. You're going to get a chance to work in with the vets. It's not one person more important than the others. I felt like that is the biggest thing for me.

In South Carolina it was different than that? You knew who the big dogs were?

In South Carolina you knew who the big dog was. You knew what you could do. Last year I could really do anything I wanted to. Here, everyone is just in a collective group trying to get back to the playoffs, trying to get back to the way they were because this is a playoff team. This is a good team. That's what I like about it.
