I don't think being bigger than the cop is why brown got shot in this case. He had it coming for going for the gun but just because big suspect gets aggressive doesn't mean small fry cops should be able to kill at will. I don't think cops should have to be put in extreme danger of getting hurt but I do believe they need to be held to a higher standard than the average citizen on when lethal force is needed. The reason being is they are trained or should be trained on ways to escalate to needed force.
Same size guy as Brown and a female officer my size? I'm 5'6 and weigh 125. Should she not pull her weapon, or should she take the arse beating that's going to come?

Why even give them the chance, though, when so many officers have lost their lives being good guys?
The public needs to be educated. If it were The Republic of SDAR I'd make it common knowledge that even trying to fight with a police officer is a death sentence.
If you attacked a normal citizen like Brown attacked the police officer, no one would even bat an eye if he shot the guy...
Well, that's not true, any time it's a black guy with any level of justification regarding use of lethal force there seems to be those who will claim something different should have happened.
Guy with a knife starts walking toward police officers asking them to kill him? They could have tased him, shot him in the leg, etc. etc..
People need to understand that people with guns will use them because it's an automatic advantage and it'd be stupid not to.
