Tybee vs Sullivan isn't even comparable. Tybee is tourist trap w/ lowbrow amenities like hotels, piers, pavilions and putt-putt, like we have at Myrtle Beach. it's just a way to attract some low end yankee dollars, but we don't actually go there ourselves. we developed Hilton Head to fleece the yankees with more money to spend, and Kiawah to attract the real affluent yankees that you can actually tolerate. Sullivans is a sea island community with a history & culture all its own, more similar to St. Simons, which is a great place too.
