It's amazing how, according to Facebook, half of my graduating class from high school are alabama fans and u never realized it when we were actually in school around 2003-2007.

amazing that i'm sure most of those people's families had Tennessee vanity plates prior. I see it in memphis now too. i can think of 3 people off hand in my grade and the grades immediately above and below me that were alabama fans when i was in high school 99-03. my class had around 12-15 people in a class of 100 go to tennessee, about 20 went to ole miss, and 2 go to alabama. saw a report of where kids were going to college the past few years, and it's amazing how many "fans" alabama has now. i'm sure it has nothing to do with the success of their football program lately and the lack thereof of tennessee.

At the Vandy-UT game last year, this teenager behind me was talking about her dad who had started buying Alabama gear but still called himself a UT fan. I had to try so hard not to laugh. The people in TN who attended non-SEC schools or didn't go to college are hilarious in how hard they bandwagon. Bill in Smyrna is a perfect example.
