The only thing, in the past decade, that I can understand being upset about is chanting "The South Will Rise Again." I just find it all exhausting. Racism is kept alive by the people who are "offended and hurt by ongoing traditions." Traditions that they were not a part of. We don't cry about exclusive University clubs for African-Americans only. Imagine if one of our schools had a White Only club/event. Lol @ even imagining it.

No, racism is kept alive by family members who have hate and prejudice in their heart. They go on to instill these beliefs in young people who don't know any better. It didn't go away... Hopefully some day it will literally die off.
