I lived in little Rock for a few years. I give the place a lot of shite, but I enjoyed the downtown area, which I imagine most visitors do as well.
Not sure you will have time for a good meal, but if so, I used to hit up Sonny Williams for a steak and I used to kill the Boston casserole at Cajuns Wharf.
Of course, this was six years ago, so I'm not sure if Cajuns is what it used to be food wise.
I'd advise staying away from any of the hotels right beside the stadium. West Little Rock is a good area as well. Not sure about now, but West End used to be a pretty good drinking spot mainly because I liked the amount of TVs they had.

And, I'd also advise not hitting up Discovery....unless you enjoy drag shows, ecstasy, and male on male bathroom shenanigans
