I used to buy the most expensive Dells 15 years ago.
I switched to the most expensive Toshiba about five years ago here at the house and it is still in there running strong.

I need something with a big sharp screen for my old eyes.
Also, what tablet should I invest-in? I need something bigger than this droid RAZR when I'm here in the Den surfing around while watching TV.

I just purchased a Dell Inspiron 5748 with an i7 processor, 8 GB Ram, and a 1 TB hard drive for $800 new. It has a 17" screen, great screen quality, and you can still get them with the Windows 7 platform. Also, there is a promotion running right now where they throw in a free tablet with it, so you could gift it to someone if you don't like it.
I have never had an Inspiron go bad that wasn't from my own doing.
