AuburnUndercover has confirmed the Gamecocks have been in contact with 4-star Auburn defensive end commit Paul James of Copiah-Lincoln Community College, along with 3-star defensive end Keir Thomas of Miami (Fla.) Central. The father of Thomas said he spoke to Muschamp and former Auburn secondary coach Travaris Robinson, who is headed to South Carolina to be defensive coordinator, on Monday night.
